PKZK is committed to continuous improvement in manufacturing high-quality Pickleball paddles for customer, and have established a dedicated testing lab conducting various tests including paddle size, surface roughness, coefficient of friction, Reflection,fatigue, breakpoint press, coating adhesion testing, Swing weight, Balance, drop etc. to ensure all are within USAP Paddle Specifications.
Paddle roughness testing using a Starrett SR160 tester, compliant with USAPA requirements, guarantees our paddles meet the allowable limits(RZ≤30µm, RT≤40µm)
for roughness with maximize roughness for spin.
Coefficient of friction test based on ASTM D1894-14, makesure the maximum kinetic coefficient of friction value of ≤ 0.1875.
Reflection testing. The paddle's hitting surface shall not be adversely reflective, measurement within 80 GU.
Fatigue testing confirms paddles exceed the standard lifespan of at least thirty thousand hits.
Breakpoint testing identifies weak points, guiding reinforcement for enhanced durability.
Coating tests ensure the surface pattern remains fresh even after extended use.
